It is our great pleasure to welcome you to The 3rd International Conference on Lysosomal Diseases (Med-Lysosomal2023) that will take place 20 – 21 April 2023 in London, UK. This conference will cover recent advances in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of Lysosomal Storage Disorders (LSDs) at large, but with a particular focus on the main (relatively more-common) Lysosomal Diseases: Gaucher, Fabry, Pompe and the various forms of MPS.

We are bringing together international leaders from basic science to academic medicine, as well as representatives of the industry who take part in the development of innovative methodologies that will lead to new therapeutic modalities.

In this year’s conference we are also introducing 4 new sessions dedicated to controverses in LSDs, including issues related to newborn screening, PGD-M (preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic disorders) for the prevention of mild LSDs, importance of patients’ reported outcome measures (PROm) and the challenges of recruiting patients to clinical trials of gene therapy. Throughout the conference, we expect our participants to take an active role by engaging faculty members in the open discussions, during the breaks (that include posters’ viewing), and voting on debates during the discussion periods. The conference is composed of 4 daily sessions of 90 minutes each, and the in last one on Day 2 there will be 4 oral presentations of the best posters (to be selected by a scientific committee).
